  • MiSeniors.net - A comprehensive and interactive site developed in partnership with e-Michigan's overall campaign to make services more accessible to citizens.
  • Aging Well - This Michigan Office of Services to the Aging website offers resources on staying active, eating well, keeping healthy and safe and secure.
  • Elder Rights - The Elder Rights corner is a combination of programs and information designed to improve the lives of seniors living in Michigan. This website offers information and services on elder abuse and prevention, legal assistance and advice, long term care ombudsmans services, and health benefits information through the Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program.

  • Administration on Aging - Not as all inclusive as seniors.gov but well worth looking at. Available here are the "National Institute on Aging Age Papers". Useful updates on legislation relating to Seniors.
  • The Veteran's Administration- Clearly laid out so that you can check out their various programs, including benefits, education, health care and more.
  • Medicare - The Official U.S. Government Site for People with Medicare.

  • Senior Brigade - A Michigan Seniors Website
  • Seniornet.org - The Grandaddy of senior-oriented web sites. Originally intended as assistance to get Seniors on the Net, it still does that and also provides forums for online discussions as well as practical information about using the World Wide Web.
  • SeniorCorp - Places volunteers with people in need across the country. Use this site for the foster grandparent and senior companion programs.
  • Grandparenting Foundation - The Grandparenting Foundation's mission is "to promote aspects of grandparenting as a role for all elders, whether or not they have biological grandchildren." Legal info on visitation rights, articles to keep grandparents up with the times, and forums to learn more about being the best grandparent you can be.
  • AARP - The American Association for Retired persons has many great resources available from their website. You can look for activities, health and wellness information, computer help and resources and much more.
